1 of 3 Men In South Africa Rapist

Based on the results of a recent survey, more than a third of South African men have raped a woman at one time in their lives. Survey of the Medical Research Council funded by the government and received support from non-profit organization Gender Links, showed that 37.4% men in the Gauteng province had committed rape. While 25.3% of women claimed to have been raped.

National survey last year which claimed more than a quarter of South African men claimed to have raped women. A Medical Research Council researcher, Rachel Jawkes said that they were surprised with the results of the survey which is higher than last year.

Researchers interviewed 487 men and 511 women in Gauteng, the second most populous province. Respondents were 90% black and 10% white, representing the demographics of the city.

Raped, 11-year-old Girl Pregnant and Gave Birth To a Child

A 11-year-old girl in Victoria, Australia, was known to bear a child. A 30-year-old man has been accused of impregnating an underage girl.

The man is currently detained by authorities and charged with over 18 different criminal cases. But certainly, the suspect is indicted for rape, sexual penetration on a girl under the age of 16 years, and accusations of deliberate violence.

As reported by News.com.au on Wednesday (11/10/2010) the victim was known to have given birth a child in a hospital outside the city of Victoria.

Suspected rapist, who is still close to the victim, was arrested on 9 September when police officers accompanied the Australian Ministry of Social Affairs (DHS) who had received reports of this case.

DHS realized this case after the family reported the incident after the victim expressed pregnant.

Father Jailed 14,400 Years For Raping His Daughter

A Philippine court sentenced 14,400 years in prison, against a man who committed a crime of rape. The man who was also a father, the accused has committed any rape of his daughter for several years.

Previous court sentenced a man who worked as a pedicab driver, with the death penalty in March 2006. This death sentence imposed on 360 cases of rape had done to the child, when his wife worked in Hong Kong. So reported the Associated Press on Friday (24/09/2010).

But the High Court of Manila, reducing the amount of punishment these men, as many as 40 years of each case are alleged to him. With this sentence reduction, the suspect eventually was sentenced to prison for 14 400 years.

But he still can appeal again the Supreme Court of Manila.This action happened since around January 2001 ago. At that time, the victim who were aged 13 years, repeatedly raped by him after her mother went to work to Hong Kong.

The victim claimed she was forced to have intercourse with the perpetrator almost every day, except when she was menstruating or had holiday.

Depraved actions of this father just ended when the victim and her two younger brother spent time on holiday to her mother's brother. Refusing to return home, the victim finally told what happened to her. Her mother soon returned to Philippine and immediately cast a claim to her husband.
