More info: The Henderson Police Department is hosting its National Night Out event at the Henderson Events Plaza on Aug. 4, showcasing the community’s resolve against crime.
National Night Out is an annual event held across the country involving police departments, civic groups, community organizations, local governments, and other, showing criminals that residents are active in making their neighborhoods safe. In 2008, more than 37 million people attended National Night Out events.
The event will feature crime prevention information, members of specialized Henderson Police units, live entertainment, free hotdogs and ice cream, and a great opportunity to meet other in the community who want to keep Henderson a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.
