Actor, singer, dancer and Broadway theatre veteran Rick Faugno ,
named “Best Singer” by the R-J’s staff in the 2009 “Best of Las Vegas” poll
for his role as Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys,”
will debut his first-ever solo performance!
“Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced)” is based on Faugno’s life story in show business, and how he got to where he is today with the love and support of his family and many others while growing up in New Jersey, on to Broadway and to the Las Vegas Strip.
80-minute musical showcase will feature musical director Keith Thompson (Jersey Boys conductor) and 7-piece band with some of the best musicians from the Strip, and will include Faugno’s performances of “Embraceable You,” “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” “Cheek To Cheek,” and “Mr. Bojangles,” & others.
