Wetlands Park ponds offer new habitat for wildlife
Dedication of 112-acre site set for Aug. 28

Clark County Wetlands Park, 7050 Wetlands Park Lane at the end of Tropicana Boulevard on Las Vegas’ east side.
Clark County Commissioner Rory Reid, representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Desert Wetlands Conservatory and Ducks Unlimited.
Clark County Wetlands Park’s new 112-acre site will be dedicated.
The newly constructed site features seasonal and permanent wetlands, ponds and a mesquite tree community that provide habitats for wildlife and migratory birds previously disturbed or destroyed by the development of Southern Nevada .
Parking is available at the Wetlands Park , and shuttles will transport guests to the dedication site. The project was completed in cooperation between Clark County Parks and Recreation, the Desert Wetlands Conservatory and Ducks Unlimited.
