HAWAIIAN TROPIC ZONE HOSTS A KNOCKOUT UFC® 101 EVENING
On Saturday, Aug. 8, mixed martial arts takes over Hawaiian Tropic Zone with a UFC® 101 viewing event, after-fight party and a “MMA 30” television launch.
On Saturday, Aug. 8, Hawaiian Tropic Zone inside Miracle Mile Shops hosts a UFC ® 101 evening with a viewing event, after-fight party and “MMA 30” launch. At 7 p.m., mixed martial arts fans can catch all the hard-hitting action of UFC ® 101 on Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s 36-foot tall plasma screen wall. Following the highly anticipated event, Hawaiian Tropic Zone hosts an after-fight party featuring surprise UFC and MMA guests, DJ spun music and a special advanced screening of “MMA 30” with show hosts Dave Farra and Andrea Tiede. A fast paced, 30 minute entertainment program, “MMA 30” gives viewers a unique look at the top fighers, fans and brands of the mixed martial arts world.
In addition, Hawaiian Tropic Zone offers fans the chance to win authentic memorabilia including signed copies of fighter Forrest Griffin’s new book, memorabilia by fighter BJ Penn and ring girl Arianny Celeste, MMA figurines and more. Mix master DJ Sincere will work his magic on the turntables and spin a spellbinding hip-hop and top 40 mash up. Ladies drink free from midnight to 2 a.m.
