NEVADA OUTSTANDING CITIZEN - Master Magician Lance Burton accepts with gratitude a plaque naming him "Nevada Outstanding Citizen" from Grand Master of the Free and Accepted Masons in Nevada Carl L. "Bud" Banks at an outdoor ceremony next to The Miracle League's new sports facility on Mesquite Avenue in Las Vegas across the street from the Daylite Lodge No. 44. Lance Burton was chosen for his years of giving back to the community with such things as his annual fundraiser show for the Zelzah Shrine Temple, giving and performing at The Shriner's Children Hospital in LA along with his work with the Variety Club of Southern Nevada - A Children's Charity and for purchasing vans for these organizations. Lance Burton's next fundraiser show will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 22. Tickets for "Lance Burton & Friends" at the Monte Carlo are $25 and can be purchased at the Zelzah Shrine Temple, 2222 W.
