M Resort Spa Casino and Cox Communications Partner to Bring “Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini” to Estimated 400,000 Households!
Officials from the M Resort Spa Casino and Cox Communications today announced an agreement to bring the M Resort’s innovative new cooking show, “Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini” to more than 400,000 households. The partnership enables the show to air on Cox 96 in Southern Nevada three times a day, two days a week beginning Monday, May 10.
“This is an exciting relationship and one that I couldn’t be happier about,” said Anthony A. Marnell III, Chairman and CEO, M Resort. “Our goal with the show has been to provide a form of healthy entertainment – to educate and entertain the public. Now, with the help of Cox, we are able to further that goal, reaching even more people.”
In addition to airing on Cox 96, “Martini Time with Chef Tina Martini” will also steam live on www.Cox96.net and be available via ON DEMAND (Cox Channel 1, Best of the Valley.) Those who tune into the show can expect to be greeted by Chef Tina Martini, also known as the “naturopathic chef.” Chef Tina’s unique ability to connect and educate people on the nutritional value of food we eat caught the attention of Cox Communications Vice President Steve Schorr. “This is great for the entire community,” said Schorr. “Not only will local families learn the secrets of one of our great chefs, but they will be able to gain delicious recipes that they can duplicate at home.”
The format of the show will largely remain the same with opportunities for a live audience and special local celebrities to cook with Chef Tina during the filming. Shows will focus on three key areas of living healthy - nutrition, fitness and mind/body - while simultaneously providing easy recipes and practical kitchen advice, tips and techniques for the home chef.
“It’s been a dream of mine to have my own television show,” said Chef Tina Martini. “I love what I do and I can’t wait to share that with more people. We have so much fun in the cooking studio – we’re really cooking and talking about the value of food in a fun and inspiring way. Now people at home get to see that!”
Chef Tina will continue to perform her regular live shows Thursday-Sunday at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. inside the custom cooking studio at the M Resort’s Studio B Buffet.
