Winter Lights Festival
Illuminate your world at the Preserve’s third annual Winter Lights Festival! All ages will be mesmerized as a half-million eco-friendly LED lights create colorful and breathtaking displays of nature. Guests will enjoy live performances of holiday music and festive craft activities, while young ones will delight in visits with Santa. Holiday-inspired treats will be available in the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, and green gift options can be found throughout the Preserve. Visit springspreserve.org for updates. Friday-Sunday, December 11-13; Nightly, December 18-24, 5-9 pm. Non-members: $8 adults, $4 children 5-12. Members: $4 adults, $2 children 5-12. Age 4 and under free.
Act Responsible – Advertising Sustainability
Originally collected by ACT (Advertising Community Together), this exhibit showcases advertisements from around the world, connected by the common theme of sustainability. Ad professionals are in a unique position to help promote awareness, as their work is seen by millions of people. As an exhibit visitor, you are invited to share your responses to these ads and to the greater issues they bring to your attention. This exhibit strives to show that each of us can make a difference by educating others, and ourselves by minimizing our use of resources and by demanding change. Springs Preserve Admission Prices:
General admission cost for Nevada residents is $9.95 for adults, $8.95 for students, seniors, teachers and military, $4.95 for children ages 5 – 17, kids 4 and under are free. Springs Preserve Value Memberships are $25 for individuals or $60 for a family, which includes annual access for two adults and all dependent children under the age of 18 within the same household. Donor level memberships are also available. Memberships are good for one year from the date of purchase and include additional benefits outlined on the Springs Preserve website. Admission for non-residents adults is $18.95, $17.05 seniors, students and military, $10.95 for children ages 5 – 17, kids 4 and under are free. Cost for admission to special events and classes vary and can be found at www.springspreserve.org.
