WORLD’S LARGEST HELIUM BALLOON NOW IN FLIGHT ABOVE THE LAS VEGAS STRIP

The skyline of the Las Vegas Strip now features the breathtaking addition of the Cloud Nine balloon, the largest helium-filled, land-tethered balloon in the world. Taking flight from a site on Las Vegas Boulevard across from Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino the Cloud Nine balloon will be visible from miles away, and offering breathtaking views of the city on both a daily/nightly basis.

This innovative project was developed by Cloud Nine Entertainment, LLC and designed by the world-renown Parisian-based company, Aerophile S.A. The European-style balloon was originally commissioned for “The America’s Cup” yacht race in Valencia, Spain. The project was inspired by other successful balloons in Paris, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Cloud Nine will safely elevate up to 30 passengers at a time in a customized gondola that will offer its high-flying guests spectacular 360 degree views of Las Vegas from nearly 500 feet in the air. The “lucky” 7-story wide by 11-story high balloon is also uniquely illuminated from within, thereby making it visible from miles away, day or night.
