Hang onto those Halloween candy wrappers to get your tickets to the November 17 event
This year the general public will get to experience the Las Vegas holiday tradition of the Cactus Lighting at ethel’s® chocolate factory in Henderson. Kicking off the holiday season on November 17, the 16th Annual Cactus Lighting will be hosted by comedian George Wallace with holiday performances by Las Vegas Strip headliner Zowie Bowie and musician Michael Grimm.
Tickets are required to enter the event and a limited amount will be available free of charge beginning October 23 at all eight ethel’s locations.
Teaming up with TerraCycle, a company dedicated to turning one man’s trash into another man’s treasure, ethel’s is asking guests to bring in any one candy wrapper to be donated to TerraCycle in exchange for one ticket to the November 17 event (limit eight tickets per family). This is perfect timing for those looking for something to do with all those leftover Halloween wrappers. Don’t toss them away and instead bring them into ethel’s for tickets to the season’s most popular event.
The 16th Annual Cactus Lighting event will take place from 5 - 8 p.m. at the three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden adjacent to ethel’s chocolate factory in Henderson . The countdown to the lighting of more than half a million colorful lights will take place at approximately 6 p.m. Santa will be present, eager to take children’s wishes and holiday entertainment will be provided throughout the evening including performances by some of Las Vegas ’ favorite entertainers alongside local school choirs singing holiday classics.
The ethel’s® chocolate factory and Botanical Cactus Garden are located at Two Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson . For more information on the Holiday Cactus Garden , holiday events, store hours and locations and ordering products, please call 1-800-680-0150 or visit www.ethelschocolate.com.
