In the City of Lights IT'S PARIS and NE-YO who lit up the Strip! WHERE?
The Memorial Day Weekend Grand Opening of Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub heated up on Saturday with a number of celebrities checking out the Strip's newest hotspot. In the afternoon, R & B sensation Ne-Yo arrived at Encore Beach Club at 2 p.m. and settled into a second story cabana. He drank Dom Perignon Rose and posed for pictures with fans until shortly before 5 p.m., when he headed back to his suite to prepare for his performance later that evening at Surrender Nightclub.
At about 3 p.m., Paris Hilton arrived at Encore Beach Club with two girlfriends. Wearing a turquoise bikini and a long skirt, the heiress relaxed in a bungalow for an hour, then circled the pool greeting and taking pictures with fans around the entire 60,000 square-foot complex. Around the same time, New Orleans running back Reggie Bush arrived at Encore Beach Club and was escorted to an upper level cabana where he partied with a bevy of beauties. Fellow Saint Jahri Evans was also spotted partying under the sun, as were Ryan Grant of the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson. Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher returned for a second day with teammates Israel Idonije and Adewale Ogunleye.
Later that evening at Surrender Nightclub, Ne-Yo took center stage for a 20-minute performance under the stars. During his first song, "Miss Independent," he grabbed socialite Paris Hilton from the audience and brought her onto the stage to dance to the hit tune. Ne-Yo went on to sing his hits "Sexy Love," "Closer" and a new song, "Beautiful Monster," from his upcoming album, which the artist said was his first live performance of the tune. After wowing the crowd, the Las Vegas native headed back to a second story cabana where he drank Grey Goose and Red Bull with an entourage of more than a dozen friends.
Hilton returned to the hotspot just before Ne-Yo's performance at 12:45 a.m. Clubgoers went wild at the sight of the heiress who wore a black and gold dress with a gold headband. Paris held court at a patio table at Surrender until 2 a.m. Also at Surrender on Saturday was UFC president Dana White.

Memorial Day at Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub! CELEBS and ATHLETES!
Memorial Day Weekend in Vegas kicked off on Friday with the long awaited opening of the Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub. The 60,000-square-foot Encore Beach Club features a lush oasis with three tiered pools, daybeds featuring private safes and 26 cabanas outfitted with refrigerators and flat screen televisions. Eight bungalows span across two stories, offering views of the Las Vegas Strip with hot tubs, showers, lavish furnishings and a temperature-controlled cooling and heating system.
Enjoying the afternoon in one of the 350- square foot bungalows was Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, while linebackers Terrell Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens and Nick Barnett from the Green Bay Packers commanded a cabana. Local headliner Carrot Top walked the venue and posed for photos with fans before enjoying a snack at the Encore Beach Club Grill.
The party continued Friday evening with the opening of Surrender Nightclub. Club goers crowded the DJ booth to hear the electro house tunes of DJ Steve Aoki, who took over the outdoor turntables at 1am for his weekly residency at "Aoki's House." The "In Da House" artist hopped on top of the DJ booth mid-set and doused the energetic audience with champagne. Returning to the newest Las Vegas hotspot was Urlacher, who took over one of Surrender's indoor VIP booths.

A VERY Rare Card! From the Titanic! On display now!
Rediscover The RMS Titanic One Artifact at a Time Artifact Feature: Ten of Clubs
As players from all around the globe come to Sin City for The World Series of Poker beginning May 27, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition invites guests to learn more about the history of card playing. Recovered in 1993, this American steamboat playing card is one of 52 from a pack found among the personal effects of Howard A. Irwin and can be found inside the Exhibition at Luxor Hotel & Casino.
Many first-class gentlemen sailing on Titanic thought of card games as a pleasant social distraction. However, the ship had several “card sharks” on board and Captain Smith advised his wealthy passengers to use caution when sitting down to gamble. He also instructed his stewards to break up games in which a known “shark” was cleaning out his opponent’s wallet.
Did you know?
* The bottom of the deep ocean is a very hostile environment and over time man-made objects are being consumed by bacteria. Even the ship itself is slowly being destroyed by iron-eating microorganisms and will one day collapse on the ocean floor. However, the tanning process for leather in the early 1900s was such that the microorganisms on the bottom of the ocean cannot eat through it and paper items found inside wallets or suitcases, like the playing card, have been protected. Any time excavators find leather, they know a treasure trove of artifacts is inside.
The Nevada desert may seem an unlikely place to discover artifacts from miles below the North Atlantic, but Las Vegas is home to one of the largest RMS Titanic artifact collections in the world. Premier Exhibitions, Inc. manages the expansive collection at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition and repeat guests discover a new treasure each time they peruse through its galleries.
Tickets for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition are $27 for adults, $20 for children, $25 for seniors and $24 with a Nevada ID. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the last tickets being sold at 9 p.m. Become a Facebook fan by visiting Facebook.com. Hot Stuff! Habanero Hot Wings!! Tacos & Tequila!
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) has introduced its newest menu item, a mouthwatering dish that is sure to bring on the heat. The habañero hot wings will tantalize the taste buds with a spicy blend of habañero peppers fused with tangy lime juice for a zesty new summer recipe, available for $10 throughout the summer at T&T.
“Habañeros are one of the spiciest peppers, so we added a few key ingredients to counterbalance the heat,” said Executive Chef Saul Ortiz. “The overall flavor is a zesty blend of tangy, spicy and sweet.”
Habañero Hot Wings recipe:
7 jumbo chicken wings (1 pound)
1 oz. habañero sauce
1 oz. buffalo sauce
1 oz. hot sauce
2 tbs. butter
1 oz. cotija cheese
2 oz. ranch dressing
1 tsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
Using a deep fryer set to 350 degrees, cook the chicken wings for 5 minutes. Transfer the wings to a pre-heated conventional oven and cook at 350 degrees for an additional 3 minutes, or until crispy. On a stovetop, combine sauces and butter in a pan and fuse together over low heat for 2 minutes or until butter is melted. In a mixing bowl, combine sauce and wings and coat heavily.
In a separate bowl, muddle the cilantro and add ranch dressing, mixing evenly. Top wings with cotija cheese and serve with a side of creamy cilantro ranch.
