The T Rex is in town....just call him"Samson!"





Another first for Las Vegas! International auctioneers, Bonham & Butterfields are pleased to announce the company'[s first Natural History auction to be held at The Venetian in Las Vegas on October 3, 2009. Which as you know is right around the corner!

On display between now and then is truly a once in lifetime opportunity for your viewing pleasure! One of three most complete Tryannosaurus rex specimens ever discovered - a rare 66-million year old rex skeleton - dubbed "Samson." Also on display and available for auction are approximately 50 lots of fossils and dinosauria.

Samson's entire specimen contains approximately 170 bones with more than 55% of the total bone count of an entire skeleton. Included in the display is a Woolly Mammoth which is expected to auction est. $150,000 - $200,00.
