Voodoo Beach ’s rockin’ summer concert series. The poolside shows take place tomorrow. Free and open to the public, based on capacity, guests must be 18 and older with valid ID.
The Presidents is an alternative three-piece rock band comprised of members Chris Ballew (basitar and lead vocals), Jason Finn (drums) and Andrew McKeag ( guitbass). The Presidents have received two Grammy nominations and are best known for their hits “Kitty,” “Peaches” and “ Lump” while “Cleveland Rocks” was chosen as the theme song for “The Drew Carey Show.” Their website is www.presidentsrock.com.
The Ataris is a pop punk band formed by Kristopher Roe (vocals and guitar) in 1995 and includes Chris Swinney (guitar), Bryan Nelson (bass) and Jake Dwiggins (drums). The group is best known for their 2003 remake of Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer.” A new studio album titled “The Graveyard of Atlantic” is expected this year.
