Collective Soul was formed in the early 90’s by principal songwriter Ed Roland. The hard rock group went on to produce the hit song "Shine" became a modern rock staple. Collective Soul found themselves thrust into the limelight, playing everywhere from arenas with Aerosmith to Woodstock 1994. Most recently, the band released the 2007 album Afterwords.
