On June 17th, Ryan Reynolds stars in the big screen debut of the enduringly popular super hero “Green Lantern,” released by Warner Bros. Pictures. Under the direction of Martin Campbell, Reynolds stars as Hal Jordan, a test pilot and the first human ever selected to wear the ring that grants him superpowers, as well as membership into the Green Lantern Corps, a brotherhood of warriors who have sworn to keep intergalactic order. Hal’s abilities are tested when a new enemy (Parallax) threatens to destroy the balance of power in the universe, but with encouragement from fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart, Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), and his determination and will power, Hal may prove to not only be the key to defeating the Parallax…he may become the greatest Green Lantern of them all.

Following “Green Lantern,” Reynolds stars with Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde in “The Change-Up,” a comedy about a married guy who switches bodies with his best friend in order to woo his co-worker.  Reynolds is currently filming the action thriller “Safe House,” which also stars Denzel Washington.
