Speedway Children’s Charities’ Laps for Charity:

Drive your personal vehicle on the superspeedway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is inviting all race fans to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to drive their personal vehicle on the 1.5-mile superspeedway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway – the same track that NASCAR stars Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. race on during NASCAR Weekend.

The event, called Laps for Charity, will take place at LVMS on Sunday, Jan. 30 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  For just $30 per vehicle, fans will be able to drive behind the LVMS pace car for three laps at speeds up to 75 mph. For an additional $10, fans may take their photo in LVMS’s victory lane.

All proceeds will benefit the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
Making a difference in a child's life is the focus of Speedway Children's Charities. SCC strives to do this in collaboration with the non-profit organizations it supports nationwide. Individually, SCC's local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities granted $255,000 to 44 local children's causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.
