The image of Sunset Thomas has been added to the celebrity caricature filled walls of The Palm Restaurant at Caesar’s in Las Vegas.
Last week, Lawrence Close (GM) presented the legendary adult entertainer with the honor. “Sunset is the first adult industry icon to grace our walls,” said Close. “She’s become a part of Las Vegas culture and she dines with us frequently!”
“This is such an honor,” beamed Sunset. “It shows a level of acceptance that makes me proud!”
Sunsets’ publicist Kent Wallace added, “Sunset has reached celebrity status here in Vegas. Her article with Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman for Dog House Boxing wound up in the Kats Report (Las Vegas Sun). She’s danced with the X-Girls at the Palms, the Flamingo and the Aladdin—she’s been a reporter for Robin Leach, has appeared several times in Richard Abowitz’s Vegas-centric LA Times column, The Movable Buffet. Sunset has made appearances at the Las Vegas Film Festival and hosted several other parties and events. Simply put, Sunset is a Sin City Celeb.”
“I chose to have my sketch—full body—no less, placed between the bar and the restaurant,” Sunset blushed. “It only seemed fair. I mean, I adore the food at The Palm but dang, they pour Jameson’s so generously in those cute little snifters—I thought that particular placement was square!”
