BETTE MIDLER TO MATCH FAN DONATIONS COLLECTED TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND SUPPORT TO EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN HAITI THROUGH FINAL SHOW JANUARY 31 AT THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE

Bette Midler and Her Fans Raised $38,742.62 for Haiti Earthquake Victims at The Showgirl Must Go On at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Sat., Jan. 16

Living up to her famous moniker “The Divine Miss M.,” Bette Midler announced she would be collecting monetary donations and matching the amount received from concerned fans through the final performance of The Showgirl Must Go On at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Sun., Jan. 31. So far, the combination of Bette’s fans and her matching donations has resulted in $38,742.62 that will go to aid the relief efforts.
Bette was so overwhelmed by the generosity and caring hearts of her fans after the final amount was totaled that she committed to match monetary donations taken during all shows through the final performance on Sun., Jan. 31, 2010. All funds will go to Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization operating in Haiti.

Fans can still catch all the show’s excitement with Bette’s final performances available now through January 31.
