Featuring works from Sean Schumacher, Lance Smith, Jennifer Kleven, Rebekah Just, Mikayla Whitmore, and Nico Holmes-Gull. The instantiation principle is a universal truth that no property can exist without being defined in a form; likewise, we believe, no memory can exist without something substantive in the real world to support it. We are creators who have made concrete our memories, finding with art the truths of moments which have otherwise ceased to exist. On New Year's Day 2010—the beginning of both a new year and a new decade, in which you will likely find yourself reassessing your own past—we hope you take some extra account of what substantiation can be found of your memories.
