Teena (Tina) Marie, a R&B singer died at 54 today. She's also known as a songwriter. There is a rumour that she suffered from seizures. Another report said that the Tina was found by her daughter, Alia Rose ( she well known as Rose Le Beau), and she was unresponsive. The story of  Teena (Tina) Marie's death was reported by a radio station, WDAS, in Philadelphia.


These are Teena (Tina) Marie's big hits ever. Lovergirl was her biggest hit peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was an immediate dance floor favorite and still enjoys wide radio airplay today. She had other chart-toppers with Square Biz, I’m a Sucker For Your Love, I Need Your Lovin' and Fire and Desire.

At the time of Teena (Tina) Marie's death, she had club dates set for Atlanta next month and at the Nokia Theater in February.
