Speedway offers Charitable Opportunities to help Children! Celebs and Fans!

Speedway Children’s Charities offers fans many opportunities to help the children of Southern Nevada at Dec. 1 Chasers For Charity Fanfest

The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities will be giving fans many opportunities to help the children of Southern Nevada during the annual Chasers for Charity Fanfest on Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

SCC is offering fans a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to play the Fast Money Round in a Family Feud-style game show with their favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase-for-the-Championship drivers. The highest bidder in SCC’s online auction will compete in the final round of Speedway Feud with the driver of their choice and will win prizes. Fans may bid on the fast-money round position by going to www.speedwaycharities.org/lasvegas.

Chasers for Charity Fanfest t-shirts will be on sale at the event for $10, with all proceeds going to SCC. Fans who donate a new, unwrapped toy will receive 50-percent discount on the limited-edition shirts.

SCC also will host its first-ever Punch-and-Lunch. Fans can dine to support the charity by purchasing a $10 punch card that will allow them to sample food from local restaurants at the track, including Margaritaville and Famous Dave’s Barbeque.

The Chasers for Charity Fanfest kicks off NASCAR Champion’s Week in Las Vegas. In addition to appearances by all 12 Chase drivers, the event also will include track tours, a celebrity go-kart race, NASCAR show cars, the Sprint Experience, live music, Richard Petty Driving Experience rides and a question-and-answer session with SPEED TV personalities Krista Voda and Larry McReynolds. Admission is free and the festival will be held in the Neon Garage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Shuttle bus transportation from the Las Vegas Strip to LVMS is available through Coach
America.

Speedway Children's Charities is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, tax ID# 56-1331429. Making a difference in a child's life is the focus of Speedway Children's Charities. SCC strives to do this in collaboration with the non-profit organizations it supports nationwide. Individually, SCC's local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities granted $275,000 to 78 local children's causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.
