The Las Vegas Farmers Market comes to downtown Las Vegas every Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and is located between Las Vegas Blvd. and Sixth Street. The grand opening event for the Las Vegas Farmers Market is scheduled for Friday, May 1 and includes an appearance by Mayor Oscar Goodman. The weekly farmers market will feature more than 20 vendors bringing the freshest foods for purchase, including fruits, vegetables, a large variety of breads and pastries, pasta, salad mix, fresh cut flowers and bedding plants. The El Cortez Hotel and Casino offers approximately 1,200 free parking spaces and is among the Fremont East Entertainment District sponsors.
