Michael Boychuck, the go-to hair colorist for a bevy of Hollywood heavyweights and owner of three of Las Vegas’ chicest salons, forecasts the hottest trends in hair for the spring and summer months.
“The key to maintaining gorgeous hair during warmer weather is keeping it healthy and vibrant,” said Boychuck. “Glossy caramel and golden highlights that frame the face can really brighten your complexion and freshen-up your overall look.”
Vivacious shades of red, auburn and strawberry blonde are quickly heating up the locks of women everywhere from red carpets to Boychuck’s salons.
“Going red is a great option for bored blondes and brunettes looking for a fun change,” added Boychuck. “Vibrant shades of crimson and strawberry blonde can revitalize the tresses of those who have kept the same hair color for years, as well as provide a splash of excitement for those willing to turn up the heat.”
In regards to hair styles, Boychuck predicts that loose up-dos will dominate this season, a popular trend seen at the Academy Awards earlier this month. In addition, stylish accessories such as braided headbands, feathers and bows can complement any style.
Boychuck, who was named “Las Vegas Colorist of the Decade” by leading hair care company Schwarzkopf Professional earlier this year, is best known for his client of more than 15 years, Paris Hilton. The blonde bombshell recently stated, “(Boychuck) is the best colorist in the world! I love how he makes my hair look.”
