Mac McAnally is best known as the legendary Jimmy Buffet’s right-hand man, wordsmithing several of his hits and performing alongside him since the ’80s. Today, McAnally is also a rising country music recording artist in addition to being an accomplished songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and producer. In the late ’80s and ’90s, McAnally worked with country greats such as Ricky Skaggs, Restless Heart, Chris LeDoux, Little Feat and many more to produce award winning hit songs and albums. McAnally recently signed with Toby Keith’s independent label and recorded “Back Where I Come From,” with Kenny Chesney. McAnally teamed with Chesney a second time to record “Down the Road,” which reached number one on the country charts and was nominated in the Academy of Country Music ’s Vocal Event category.
